GT World Challenge Europe: Third place for Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing in season-opening race.

Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing has started the new Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS season with an overall podium result. The #2 Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed car finished third overall as the best-placed Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the three-hour race at Circuit Paul Ricard. Defending champion Jules Gounon (AND), Fabian Schiller and Luca Stolz (both GER) initially dropped from third to seventh place in a turbulent opening part with several interruptions.

Mercedes-AMG wants to continue successful streak in GT World Challenge Europe.

Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing is taking on the new Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS (GTWC) season with a high-quality line-up. During the season-opening event at Circuit Paul Ricard, there will be eleven Mercedes-AMG GT3s run by six Customer Racing Teams on the grid. The 3-hour race at Le Castellet is also the first of five rounds in this year’s Endurance Cup. Both in the overall and in the endurance classification, Mercedes-AMG celebrated the drivers’ and teams’ title wins in the past two seasons.

2024 DTM: Mercedes-AMG starts title mission with high-calibre line-up.

Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing will once again field a high-quality line-up in the 2024 DTM season. With Mercedes-AMG Team HRT and Mercedes-AMG Team WINWARD Racing, the performance and sports car brand is relying on two established and highly respected Performance Teams. The quartet of Lucas Auer (AUT), Maro Engel (GER), Arjun Maini (IND) and Luca Stolz (GER) will be competing for the prestigious DTM title with the racing cars from Affalterbach.

Mercedes-AMG rounds out record weekend with Bathurst 12 Hour podium result.

Four podium results and a class win for Mercedes-AMG at the Repco Bathurst 12 Hour. The 2024 season opener of the prestigious Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) was held in Australia this weekend. A contingent of ten Mercedes-AMG race cars took on the first of four stops on the calendar. Challenging weather changes and a close-fought final stage of the race demanded everything from the nine Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Teams and their drivers.
