FIA World Endurance Championship
ENDURANCE RACING AT ITS BEST
Launched in 2012, the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) is regarded as one of the world's most prestigious endurance championships. It follows on from the World Sportscar Championship organised by the FIA between 1953 and 1992. The calendar includes venues on four continents, including the major highlight of the season, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Numerous renowned manufacturers are represented in the WEC with their hypercars or LMGT3 models.
2025 season
Together with the Iron Lynx Customer Racing Team, we are fielding the Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the first time in 2025. The team will contest the eight-race season with two Mercedes-AMG LMGT3s. Matteo Cairoli, Matteo Cressoni and Claudio Schiavoni formed the line-up of the #60 until the six-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps (Andrew Gilbert, Fran Rueda and Lorcan Hanafin from Le Mans onwards), while Lin Hodenius, Maxime Martin and Martin Berry (Christian Ried until Spa-Francorchamps) take turns at the wheel of the #61 sister car. Participation in this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans marks the brand's return to the Circuit des 24 Heures after 26 years. By winning the LMGT3 championship in the 2024 European Le Mans Series, Iron Lynx receives an additional grid slot for a third Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 at the highlight event.
