The power of potency
Performance doesn't come out of nowhere: the Mercedes-AMG 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine in the Mercedes-AMG GLC 53 4MATIC+ Coupé delivers an output of 330 kW. The fundamentally redeveloped engine, which also features an optimised exhaust gas turbocharger, second-generation integrated starter generator and 48-volt on-board electrical system impresses with even more agile response and even more revving power. The torque plateau has been significantly extended and reaches a maximum of 600 Nm in continuous operation. In overboost at 5,200 rpm, up to 640 Nm of torque is possible for up to ten seconds. For maximum torque that is available almost instantly – at any moment. A powerful, emotional engine sound rounds off the driving pleasure, with the intensity depending on the selected driving programme.

Delivers controlled performance on the road and offering even more driving pleasure: with the Mercedes-AMG GLC 53 4MATIC+ Coupé, you'll be driving in the optimum rev range particularly often thanks to the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G with nine gears. In addition, the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive also ensures uncompromising driving dynamics and delivers the best possible grip when accelerating. This is supported by the electronically controlled rear-axle limited-slip differential, which is available for the first time in the GLC. It ensures excellent traction in all driving conditions and improves driving stability when changing lanes – especially at high speeds. In Drift Mode, which is also available for the first time in an AMG SUV, sporty drivers can experience the full range of driving dynamics on closed tracks.

This is achieved through features such as the matte black, 21-inch AMG forged wheels accentuated with Techgold rim flanges and wheel hub caps, and extensive black and dark chrome equipment details from the AMG Night Packages I and II and the AMG DESIGN PLUS Package. The vehicle's dynamic character is further emphasised by black brake callipers, dark chrome tailpipe trims, an enlarged AMG spoiler lip on the tailgate in body colour, and subtle foiling on the car flanks with the AMG logo.
