Driver-oriented interior concept

The best of both worlds

Pure sports car genes meet outstanding Gran-Turismo attributes: the highly exclusive interior of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe was developed specifically for uncompromising sportiness – without any loss of comfort. The low, sports car-typical seating position is perfectly integrated into the overall vehicle design, immediately conveying the focused, emotional driving experience familiar from models such as the two-door Mercedes-AMG GT.

In the rear, however, the focus is on Gran-Turismo qualities: two intelligently designed recesses in the floor provide passengers with generous legroom and comfortable knee angles, offering a high level of long-distance comfort. The dynamic interior concept skilfully combines elements and structures from motorsport with a digital cockpit setting new standards, a driver-oriented central display and a uniquely designed centre console. In short, it has everything you would expect from an in-house development from Affalterbach.

Digital cockpit

Command centre for performance enthusiasts

Unmistakably dynamic: the digital cockpit of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe is consistently geared towards the driver. The instrument panel is dominated by a wide display divided into driver- and passenger-oriented areas. The razor-sharp driver displays, consisting of a combination instrument (10.2”) and multimedia monitor (14.0”), offer a visual unit and extremely intuitive operation – just like the exclusive passenger display (14.0”), which shows separate content.

Further down, the eye is drawn to the centre console, which is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional and features a winglet in a real metal look at the front. It echoes the driver-oriented angle of the central display and includes an armrest with a closed storage compartment and two charging trays for inductive fast charging of smartphones: clearly high-quality.

Driving dynamics controllers

Dynamics at the turn of a dial

A sporting highlight in top form: the three newly developed rotary controls for driving dynamics in the centre console not only visually emphasise the dynamism and agility of the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe, but are also responsible for response, slip and cornering behaviour. As central controls, they offer experienced drivers maximum vehicle control and exceptional driving pleasure.

The 'Response Control' dial coordinates the response of the electric motors to accelerator pedal commands. 'Agility Control' adjusts the agility around the vertical axis, thereby influencing the cornering behaviour. ‘Traction Control’ influences the intervention of the traction control in nine stages, including slip behaviour. The three rotary controls are ergonomically oriented towards the driver and feature the striking chain-link look of the outer nozzles. This ensures maximum ease of use and an intuitive haptic experience.

Exclusive interior options

The perfect synthesis of sportiness and comfort

When it comes to seats, nothing beats the lightness typical of motorsport. The newly developed front seats have a sporty, expressive design and offer extremely high lateral support when cornering dynamically. The optional AMG Performance seats, which have integrated head restraints and striking two-backrest cut-outs with galvanised inserts that emphasise the lightweight construction, look even sportier.

The wide selection of exclusive seat covers, ranging from performance-oriented to comfort-oriented, reflects the full spectrum of the Mercedes-AMG 4-Door Coupe. This is even more evident in the many customisation options offered by the exclusive MANUFAKTUR programme, which provides a unique range of colours, materials and handcrafted surfaces to optimally express your personality.

Interior view of the ‘SKY CONTROL’ panoramic glass roof

Panoramic glass roof

Spectacular AMG lighting

An exclusive, airy feeling of space that is second to none: the generous, one-piece ‘SKY CONTROL’ panoramic glass roof extends to the rear window and can be switched between transparent and non-transparent. It is also divided into individually switchable segments – for more or less light. At night, the roof can be transformed into a sparkling canvas. Illuminated AMG emblems and motorsport-inspired racing stripes shine in colours that match the ambient lighting of the entire vehicle.

During the day, the standard heat-insulating, laminated safety glass provides intelligent protection from sunlight – with infrared-reflective and low-emissivity (LowE) coating. The latter keeps the interior cool in summer and reduces heat loss in winter. Important for performance purists all year round: a carbon-look ultra-lightweight roof, which is also available as an option.

MBUX Infotainmentsystem

Intelligent, intuitive, informative

Full control without distraction: the user interfaces and the state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) showcase the capabilities of intuitive use today. The basis for this is the company's own Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) – a deeply integrated software-to-cloud architecture that intelligently connects all control units and functions. Completely newly developed display styles enable an unprecedented, individual driving experience: “AMG Special” offers four different sub-screens, while “AMG TRACK PACE” shows telemetry data, acceleration values, and race data depending on the situation. The selection is complemented by the timeless “Classic Style” with various submenus such as current consumption, an impressive presentation of the driver assistance systems, and a large navigation map. For an optimal overview without compromise.
