Unlimited Performance

The Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series

At the racetrack, it all comes down to performance. Built to challenge the limits of driving physics, they make the true character of a vehicle come to the fore. This is where the new Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series, our most powerful Customer Racing car ever, is at home.

FROM BLACK TO TRACK

Too mighty for the road, too powerful for racing. Strictly limited to 55 units, the Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series is following its own vocation: Rule every track day! Developed on the basis of the iconic Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series (combined fuel consumption 12.8 l/100 km | combined CO2 emissions 292 g/km [1]), the special edition stands for a basic principle that already spurred on the founders of AMG: Improve the best and take it to the track.

HIGHLIGHTS

Inner Strength

PERFORMANCE

The Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series combines the high-performance genes of the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series with the racetrack-proven qualities of the GT3 and GT4 models. The AMG 4.0 litre V8 bi-turbo engine unleashes its full performance potential of 540 kilowatts (734 hp) and reaches a maximum torque of 850 newton metres! The sequential 6-speed racing gearbox transfers the sheer power to the rear axle. The suspension features comprehensive adjustable four-way dampers. These high-performance components, in combination with a kerb weight of only 1,400 kg, result into a highly precise handling with unmistakable feedback.

Design of Dominance

EXTERIOR

The design and aerodynamics of the Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series speak an unmistakable language: from the high-downforce front splitter and the characteristic radiator grille via the elongated bonnet featuring a central air outlet, all the way to the mighty rear wing – everything on this car has been designed to set the benchmark at track days and club sport events.

An exceptional eye-catcher: the exclusive semi-gloss special finish in MANUFAKTUR hightech silver magno with design elements in red and anthracite. Another highlight is the first-ever integration of the AMG emblem in the upper area of the front apron.

The GT Track Series is a thoroughbred motorsport vehicle. The steering wheel, exclusively developed in cooperation with the sim racing experts at Cube Controls, has a wide adjustment range and numerous control opportunities. The dashboard includes a fully programmable Driver Display Unit (DDU), designed for intuitive operation and user-friendliness. It incorporates a comprehensive data logging system for motorsport purposes, for instance a lap trigger to keep track of lap times. The GT Track Series is one of the first cars around to feature the newly developed DDU system.

Maximum Exclusivity

FIFTYFIVE

The Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series stands for maximum exclusivity. Only 55 units are hand-built in Affalterbach. The number pays tribute to the founding of AMG in 1967, exactly 55 years ago.

A high-quality embossed “1 of 55” in-vehicle plaque identifies every Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series as a unique piece from the special edition – as do the embroidered “Track Series” writings on the driver’s seat and the limited “Track Series” car cover.

Owners of a Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series benefit from the same comprehensive service and support range as our Customer Racing Teams: a technical training prior to delivery of the vehicle, individual engineer support during track days and club sport activities upon request, a service hot line as well as logistical services such as an optimal spare parts supply.

When your interest in the Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series has been triggered, feel free to contact us by email and we will get back to you straight away. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
