The youngest-ever FIA GT3 European Champion, the youngest-ever winner at the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race and the 2013 ADAC junior driver of the year – Maximilian Buhk’s resume in motorsport includes several superlatives. In 2016, the debut season of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, Maximilian Buhk, together with Dominik Baumann, secured the drivers’ and teams’ titles in the Blancpain GT Series, among other noteworthy achievements.

Yelmer Buurman

Yelmer Buurman is an experienced endurance racing expert. The Dutchman has been racing with Mercedes-AMG since 2014 and, among others, secured race wins in the Dubai 24 Hours, podium finishes in the 24-hour races at the Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps and the 2018 Blancpain Endurance Series title.

Adam Christodoulou

Adam Christodoulou has an impressive track record in 24-hour races: a pair of victories at the Nürburgring and one victory each at Circuit Paul Ricard and in Barcelona only are the absolute highlights of his career in motorsport. Moreover, the Brit has been successful as a Mercedes-AMG Driver since 2015 and is supporting Customer Racing Teams in international race series. In 2017, he was one of the drivers involved in the start of the North American programme with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the long-standing Daytona 24 Hours.

Maro Engel

Maro Engel’s roots in motor racing are in single-seater competition. After the German Formula BMW series, in which he already raced at the age of 16, he raced, among others, in the German and British Formula 3 championships. After that, Maro Engel spent four years racing for Mercedes-AMG Motorsport in the DTM and he has been successful in GT3 competition since 2012. Among others, Maro Engel won the 2016 Nürburgring 24 Hours, the 2014 Bathurst 12 Hours and scored a pair of victories at the Macau Grand Prix (2014 and 2015). Formula E is also part of his versatile track record of motorsport activities all over the world. Since 2017, Maro Engel has been an AMG Brand Ambassador at the same time.

Maximilian Götz

For Maximilian Götz, his success story started early: after a successful career in karting and participation in the Formula 3 Euro Series, the driver from Oschenfurt in Germany switched to GT racing in 2009 and embarked on his first full-season campaign in the ADAC GT Masters in 2011. It didn’t take long for success to set in: only one year after his debut season, Maximilian Götz secured the drivers’ and teams’ titles in the series. Boosted by his achievements in GT racing, he competed with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport in the DTM for two years before returning to the international GT racing platform in 2017. In 2019, he became runner-up in the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC).

Thomas Jäger

Racing driver, developer, instructor: Thomas Jäger is a petrolhead in every sense of the word. Since 2006 already, he has been involved as a motorsport instructor in the AMG Driving Academy. In 2009, the former DTM driver joined the Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing project, in which he has been significantly involved ever since, contributing to the development of the SLS AMG GT3, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and the Mercedes-AMG GT4 with his expert knowledge. At the race track, he scored historic achievements, too: back in 2010, he secured the maiden win for the SLS AMG GT3 in the four-hour race at the Nürburgring and in Dubai in 2012, Thomas Jäger secured the first-ever win for the gullwing in a 24-hour race.  With the Mercedes-AMG GT3, he was also successful with a pair of podium results in the Nürburgring 24-hour race in 2018 and 2019.

Raffaele Marciello

Raffaele Marciello ranks among the 50 best drivers of the year, as the international AUTOSPORT magazine judged in December, 2017. Anyone who has witnessed Raffaele Marciello in action during the 24-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps can only agree: with his outstanding stints behind the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, ‘Lello’ made a decisive contribution towards third place for the AKKA ASP Team. Prior to his switch to GT racing, he secured the European FIA Formula 3 championship crown in 2013, was successful in the now-defunct GP2 series and already caught the attention as a test driver in Formula 1. His biggest achievements in GT racing include the 2018 Blancpain GT Series title and his victory in the 2019 FIA GT World Cup.

Dirk Müller

Numerous titles and victories adorn Dirk Müller’s career. He made his sporting breakthrough at the Nürburgring in 1996 when he scored his maiden victory in Formula 3 in what was his first season in the series. Since that time, the German, who scored great results in both the GTLM and the GT3 category, became firmly established in international motor racing, having already stood on the top step of the podium in the classic endurance races at Le Mans, Daytona, Sebring and the Nürburgring.

Bernd Schneider

With five titles in the DTM and one title each in the ITC and the FIA GT Championship, Bernd Schneider ranks among the most successful German racing drivers of all times. Since 2009, the AMG Brand Ambassador has decisively contributed with his knowledge to the development of the Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Programme as well as the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 and the Mercedes-AMG GT3. Behind the wheel of both race cars, he celebrated legendary victories, including two wins in the Nürburgring 24-hour race already (2013 and 2016) and a victory in the 24-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps (2013).

Luca Stolz

Although he is one of the youngsters in the Mercedes-AMG driver line-up, Luca Stolz already has plenty of experience and considerable achievements to his name. He had his sporting breakthrough in endurance racing in 2018 as he finished third in the legendary Nürburgring 24-hour race. Also with the Mercedes-AMG GT3, Luca Stolz secured the drivers’ and teams’ titles (GTD) in the hard-fought Endurance Cup classification of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship as well as the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup in the same year.
